Drottningholmsteaterns Vänner utlyser årligen stipendier för utbildning och förkovran. Alla sångare, dansare och musiker som har medverkat på Drottningholms Slottsteater är behöriga att söka. De pengar som delas ut kommer från de stiftelser och fonder som förvaltas av Vänföreningen.

Vissa fonder ger bidrag till andra konstnärskategorier samt teknisk personal som medverkat vid Drottningholms Slottsteater samt till forskning inom teatervetenskap och scenkonst relevanta för Slottsteaterns verksamhet. Viktigt att veta för dig som ansöker är att dessa fonder inte ger avkastning varje år.

2017 instiftade Drottningholmsteaterns Vänner ett nytt stipendium Vännernas Operastipendium, ett stipendium till förkovran för unga sångare som just avslutat en operahögskoleutbildning eller motsvarande och är särskilt intresserade av Drottningholmsteaterns 1600- och 1700-tals repertoar.

The Friends Association of the Drottningholm Theatre annually announce scholarships for education and development. All singers, dancers, and musicians who have participated at the Drottningholm Palace Theatre are eligible to apply. The funds distributed come from the foundations and funds managed by the Friends Association.

Some funds provide grants to other categories of artists as well as to technical staff who have participated in productions at the Drottningholm Court Theatre, as well as to research in theatre studies and performing arts relevant to the theatre’s activities. It is important for applicants to know that these funds do not generate returns every year.

In 2017, the Friends Association of the Drottningholm Theatre established a new scholarship, the Friends’ Opera Scholarship, a scholarship for development aimed at young singers who have just completed an opera school education or equivalent and have a particular interest in the Drottningholm Theatre’s 17th- and 18th-century repertoire.
